Královéhradecký kraj

The castle originated at the beginning of the 14th century.
Around the middle of the 14th century another chateau was built on the east side. Further extensive building was in progress in the 15th century.
During the thirty year war it was being besieged by the Danes and Swedes but it was never captured. Nowadays, it serves various cultural actions.
It is international centre for decorative metalwork as a result of Hefaiston.

Weekends 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
