Today´s appearance of the chateau is the result of extensive renovations which occured during the nineteenth century and reflected a romance-gothic architectural desing.
The chateau was built in place of a middle age´s castle which was the original structure.
In reality the chateau served gentlemen was a means for royal correspondance.
Later it came under the ownership of the Schwarzenberks-for three centuries.
