The Ski Resort of Svinec
The ski resort of Svinec, Nový Jičín, is situated just 3 km far from the centre of Nový Jičín. When you go skiing, you are not even pressed to solve the question of how to get to the resort. It is just a short beautiful walk to Skalky and along the road to the Svinec peak. Or you can go from Loučka to the bottom part of the downhill course. Those who want to go by car can use a well-kept road leading from the petrol station in Loučka to the ski-lift.
