 Královéhradecký krajKunín [ Village or Town/City ]Kunín is situated only 4 kilometres from the town of Nový Jičín. It spreads out on both banks of the Jičínka river. The municipality was originally established as a forest village at the end of the 13th century. It flourished by the end of the 18th century under the administration of the Countess Walburga from Truchsess-Zeil, who supported education here. She founded an educational youth instutute (at that time it was the only one in Europe) The institute was even attended by František Palacký.
