DENATOP P/AU - unary industrial enamel on the base of urethan alkyd -

DENATOP P/AU is a unary water diluted enamel formed on the base of a urethan alkyd emulsion containing coloured pigments, dispersive fillers, detergents and biocides, coalescents, and other additives aptly affecting the properties of the substance.

Use: The glossy surface finish of metal structures, products and semi-products in mechanical engineering and other metal-working industries. The product is suitable mainly for application at constant temperatures in paint shops and for application when warming up the products. The application must be always consulted with the supplier or the producer.

Properties:
Density: 1.05 - 1.25 kg/ m2
Mass dry substance: 35 - 50 %
pH 8 - 10
Volume dry substance: 35 - 45 %
The enamel is characterised by high gloss, excellent and long operating life indoors as well as outdoors.

Ground preparation: Metal grounds must be painted with the priming anticorrosive paint DENAKOR or DENAPOX Z, use of other types of priming coats must be consulted with the producer.

Enamel application: The enamel is usually spray-painted on the ground. It is supplied in a consistency adapted to the method of application. It is advised always to consult the method and conditions during application (the temperatures, the volatilization and ripening time, the method of application, etc.) and the composition of the coating system with the producer. The air and ground temperature during application and drying of the enamel must not drop below + 18 °C. It is recommended to let the coat finish drying at a higher temperature.

Theoretical spreading capacity: 5 - 7 m2 out of one kg for one coat when the thickness of the dry layer is 50 m.

Shades: In accordance with the swatches RAL, EUROTREND, NCS, ČSN, or in shades by arrangement in a glossy design.

Packaging and storage: Packaging in plastic or sheet metal packages weighing 0.8 - 35 kg. Storage in original packages at temperatures from +5 až + 25 °C in places protected from direct solar radiation and sudden variations in temperature. Storage life is 12 months from the date of production.

Security and hygiene: DENATOP P/AU is not harmful in the sense of valid regulations. When working with and handling the enamel, follow the instructions stated in the security sheet. Use protective aids and observe the personal hygiene principles. When spraying, protect your respiratory organs; in bounded spaces provide aeration of the workplace. If eyes are hit, wash them out properly with a large amount of clean water and seek medical treatment.

Waste liquidation: Take empty metal packages to a salvage collector, waste code: 150104. Plastic packages liquidate as other waste, waste code: 150102. Paint remainders and impure packages liquidate as dangerous waste, waste code: 080111.
