DENAPOX SETTING AGENT contains an emulsion from epoxide resin.

Use: Coating of concrete floors, walls, tanks, and other silicate grounds and structures in heavily stressed environment - food-processing and chemical plants, workplaces with sources of ionizing radiation, medical institutions, spa and swimming pool premises, communal catering premises, etc.

Properties: Density: 1.25 - 1.40 kg/l
Mass dry substance: 45 - 60 %
pH 8 - 10
Volume dry substance: 35 - 50 %
The coat is highly resistant to chemical effects and to the effects of detergents and disinfectants, and owing to its being highly resistant to the effects of UV radiation and being weatherproof, it is also suitable to be used outdoors.

Ground preparation: The grounds must be dry, devoid of mechanical as well as greasy impurities, and of paint remainders not cohesive with it. Absorbent grounds should be impregnated with the priming soaking coat PRIMER B.

Procedure: Before application, the paint DENAPOX B and DENAPOX SETTING AGENT should be mixed in the ration of 100 : 7; during adding the setting agent into the paint, the paint should be stirred all the time. Workability of the starched paint is at least 12 hours at 23 °C. Stirring is done by an appropriate mixing device (e.g. by a drilling machine with a stirrer), hand stirring is inadmissible. The paint is applied on the ground in one or more coats by a paint roller, brush, or by spraying with an interval of min. 12 hours between the coatings. The temperature during application and drying of the coat must not drop below + 10 °C.

Shades: In accordance with the swatches RAL, EUROTREND, NCS, ČSN, or in shades by arrangement in a matt design.

Packaging and storage: The paint and the setting agent are supplied in plastic packages. The product should be stored in original packages at temperatures from +5 až + 25 °C, storage life min. 12 months from the date of production. The product must not freeze.

Security and hygiene: DENATOP SETTING AGENT contains epoxide components and is categorised as Xi irritant - it irritates eyes and skin, it can cause sensibilisation when coming into contact with skin. When working with the setting agent and starched paint, follow the security instructions stated in the security sheet DENAPOX SETTING AGENT. Use protective clothing, plastic or rubber gloves, and protective glasses or a protective shield. When working in bounded spaces, provide aeration. When the aeration is imperfect or when spraying, use a face guard with a filter against organic vapours. If skin is stained extensively, wash the affected spots with water and soap; if eyes are hit, wash them out properly with a stream of clean water; in serious cases seek medical treatment.

Waste liquidation: Take empty metal packages to a salvage collector, waste code: 150104. Plastic packages liquidate as other waste, waste code: 150102. Paint remainders and impure packages liquidate as dangerous waste, waste code: 080111.
