DENATOP ST - structural acrylate enamel -

DENATOP ST is a structural variant of water diluted DENATOP enamels, which are thickened to a high viscosity.

Use: The top finishing coats of wooden and metallic products, structures and materials indoors as well as outdoors. This enamel is suitable for the surface finish of doors, kitchen units, various kinds of boarding and panelling, concrete, plasters, mop boards, elevator cars, and for diverse kinds of metal finish in mechanical engineering and metal-working industry.

pH: 8.5 - 10
Volume dry substance: 30-43%

Ground preparation: The grounds must be dry, devoid of mechanical and greasy impurities, and of paint remainders not cohesive to it. Wooden grounds should be impregnated with the priming coat DENAPOL; other absorbent grounds should be impregnated with the soaking coating composition PRIMER. Metal structures must be painted with the priming anticorrosive paint DENAKOR.

Procedure: The enamel is usually applied on the ground by a structuring polyurethan paint roller. The type of the paint roller used and the size of the pores on its surface influence the final structure in its being coarser or more delicate. When applying, it is vital to attend to a uniform coating of the enamel on the whole surface, which can be achieved by a multiple motion of the paint roller in diverse directions and a final consolidation into one direction. More complexly shaped grounds can be spray-painted with the enamel by use of an appropriate low-pressure spraying device. The enamel is applied in the supplied consistence without dilution. The air and ground temperature during the application and drying of the coat must not drop below +10 °C.

Theoretical spreading capacity: 3 - 6 m2/kg depending on the type of structure, the quality of the ground and the type of the coating device.

Shades: In accordance with the swatches RAL, EUROTREND, NCS, ČSN, or in shades by arrangement.

Packaging and storage: Plastic or sheet metal packages weighing 0.8 - 35 kg. The product should be stored in original packages at temperatures from +5 to +25°C, storage life min. 12 months from the date of production. The enamel must not freeze.

Security and hygiene: DENATOP ST is not harmful in the sense of valid regulations. When working, use protective aids and observe the personal hygiene principles. When spraying, protect your respiratory organs; in bounded spaces provide aeration of the workplace. If eyes are hit, wash them out properly with a large amount of clean water and seek medical treatment.

Waste liquidation: Empty metal packages should be taken to a salvage collector, waste code: 150104. Plastic packages should be liquidated as other waste, waste code: 150102. Enamel remainders and impure packages should be liquidated as dangerous waste, waste code: 080111.
